LOCAL 525 MAKES A DIFFERENCE! ????

Great job, Local 525 and the Women’s Committee, for making this incredible effort happen!

Because of a donation approved by our members at a union meeting—along with generous contributions from the MCA, Pipewerx, Murray Company, and our investment consultant, NEPC—we were able to deliver 170 fully stocked backpacks to schools near our hall on the east side.

The school counselors were incredibly grateful for the support, as was Assemblyman and retired Local 357 member Max Carter, who joined us in recognizing the impact of this donation.

We were told that without this effort, many students would have arrived at school without the supplies they needed.

Today, our members and community partners stepped up and made a real difference in the lives of local children.

This is what solidarity looks like. This is what giving back looks like. This is Local 525! ????
